OUR STORY

It started in a parked car
at midnight.

A long story, told the way it actually happened.

01 — The Idea

September 2025.
A car. Three of us. One question.

It was already cold that night. The three of us were sitting in a car somewhere in Helsinki — engine off, windows fogging up — talking about the same thing we'd been talking about for weeks. Why can't we find clothes that feel honest? Heavy where they should be heavy. Quiet where they should be quiet. Made by people who actually care if it lasts the year.

We'd all bought things from "premium" brands. We'd all been disappointed. The fabric was thinner than the price tag suggested. The print cracked after two washes. The story on the website didn't match what arrived in the box.

That night we decided to stop complaining about it and try to make one ourselves. Not a brand. Just one piece. To see if we could.

02 — The Workshop

Two days later,
we were already pressing prints.

We didn't wait. Two days after that night in the car, we were standing in a small workshop, picking out cotton blanks, testing weights in our hands, choosing the prints we actually loved instead of the ones we thought would sell. T-shirts and hoodies. Designs that made us feel something. Nothing more complicated than that.

The first ones were rough. We learned a lot in those first weeks — how prints behave on different fabric weights, how a hoodie that feels right at 280 gsm feels much more right at 320, why double piqué matters on a polo, what happens when you press too hot. Every mistake taught us something. We kept what worked.

"We weren't trying to launch a brand. We were trying to make one piece we'd be proud to wear."
03 — The First Orders

Friends started asking.
Then strangers did.

Our first orders came through Instagram. From friends, mostly — the ones who'd seen us wearing the early pieces and asked where we got them. Then their friends. Then people we'd never met.

And that's when we hit the real problems. How do you box a hoodie so it arrives without a single crease? How do you label sizes consistently when the supplier's measurements drift between batches? How do you reply to a customer in a way that doesn't feel like a template? We worked through all of it. Slowly, sometimes badly, but always together.

04 — The Order We'll Never Forget

A fair. A deadline.
A pile of work we weren't sure
we could finish.

The first big order came in for a fair — a real one, with a setup deadline and no room to be late. We looked at the size of it and we looked at each other and we knew we were about to find out exactly what we were made of.

We didn't sleep much that week. We figured out things we'd never had to figure out before. We invented small systems that we still use today. And we delivered it on time. Every piece, the way we wanted it.

"That order taught us that when you actually want something to happen, you find a way. It's the order we'll never forget."

It changed how we thought about ourselves. Before that, we were three friends with an idea. After that, we were three friends with proof — proof that the idea was real, that we could deliver under pressure, and that the standard we'd set for ourselves was something we could actually keep.

05 — The Quiet Confirmation

And then they came back.

The thing that told us we were doing something right wasn't a viral post. It wasn't a press feature. It was the second orders. People who had bought once, washed it, worn it, lived with it — and then came back for another one.

That's the moment a brand stops being a hope and starts being a thing. When someone you've never met decides, on their own, that the piece you made was good enough to repeat. That's the only metric we really pay attention to.

06 — Why Helsinki

I moved here.
And the city moved into me.

Helsinki is in the name for a reason. I moved here, and at first it was just a place. Cold. Quiet. Reserved in the way Finnish cities are. But I started showing up — at events, at gatherings, at the small things that bring people together — and slowly the city opened up to me.

Finnish warmth is real. It just takes time to find it. And when you do, it changes you. It's the kind of warmth you have to earn, and once you've earned it, it stays with you. That's the feeling we want our clothes to carry. Not loud. Not for everyone. But honest, and lasting, and yours once you let it in.

01

DO IT PROPERLY

Whatever the work is, we try to do it right. The reaction we get when we do is what keeps us going.

02

TREAT PEOPLE AS PEOPLE

If you order from us, you're not a checkout number. We see you. That's not a slogan, it's just how we work.

03

STAY SMALL ENOUGH TO CARE

Growth is fine. Losing the part where we know each order personally is not. That's a line we won't cross.
